Uh...no.
They've completely ripped people off.
Their terms and conditions state that people getting in early will have access to cheaper tickets, which was not the case.
This is a legitimate subject to raise with the appropriate ombudsman should they fail to reimburse everyone who was affected. |

If they've cocked it up, then yeah, fair enough.
It's possible, though, that the number of 1st and 2nd release tickets allocated to ticketek was extremely small (50? 100?). The promoter allocates the number of tickets to each authorised seller, so bear in mind that ITM may have received many more 2nd release tickets than ticketek to maximise cash flow, or reduce scalper profits.
At least, that's probably what they'll tell you ;) |

I'm glad I'm not going now so I don't have to deal with all this overhyped bull.
6 hours of Armin was more than enough last year, so no need to tack on another woefully boring, predictable and uninspiring 3 hours :rolleyes:
Good luck to all of you who think you're going to see Armin from pre-2005. Seriously, good luck with that.
Oh and this is coming from one of the biggest melodic and uplifting trance fans around, which shows you just how sad this makes me. |

ever consider that there may have just been a monumental up with the website being jam packed with hungry armin fans and it just shat itself?
thats what i think may have happened.. i dont believe it's deliberate.
however, having said that, there's no reason we should be forking out extra cash when we didn't have to and ticketek needs to lift it's game.
i think they should somehow find out who were the first ones to buy 3rd release (mainly because i'm sure i'm one of them :)) and cash back the difference between the 2nd release price and 3rd release price until the 2nd release ticket allocation is exhausted. i mean, the event will sell out so in the end, they're going to get all the tickets sold anyway...
