EXACTLY.
I want a refund of the diff between what I paid and 2nd release too

Also, to top it off, I had to pay for postage SEPARATELY for my Sydney and Melb. tickets, because the Melb ones were screwing around at 9:00am, and I couldn't add *any* to my cart (1st/2nd or 3rd).
I had my Sydney tickets in the cart which was set to time out after 8mins, so when 7mins or so elapsed and I couldn't get ANY Melb tickets in there, I had no option but to order the Sydney ones.

Then 2-3 mins later I was allowed to get 3rd release tickets for Melb.

I've got a Q for Future:

Now that you've done such an awethome job with the ticket sales, are you guys going to get that great team of security you used at Two Tribes 06' to lock us out of Vodafone arena right in the middle of Armins set, just like they did last time?

:whip:

i dont think can do anything about it. they'll just say if you didnt like the price, you shouldn't have made the offer to buy.
only ones that MAY have an actual argument are those that got through literally *first* on the phone lines/in a store and missed out.. sounds like a possible case of bait advertising. it is tickets though and they do sell craploads in an instant.

True.

But this still doesn't explain two things:

1) why were 2nd release also unavailable *instantly*.
2) why were 2nd release later made available, HOURS (not minutes -- so it can't be explained by people having them in their cart - ie, reserved, as this is only 8mins) after many many people were forced to buy 3rd release tickets at around 9:07-9:20?

These issues combined make me believe they screwed up and should refund those customers who bought 3rd release early in the morning (i.e. before ~ 9:30).

But you and I know they wont. Unless some watchdog body gets involved.

These 'arguments,' are not going anywhere, really. Why don't you guys talk about Armin Van Boring like you do in every other thread about other dj's.

Either go or don't.

Since you're not going and clearly aren't a fan, why do you even waste your time posting? There's lots of other threads for you.

Seems to me that some of you have never bought tickets for a popular event for these things before. When there is such high demand you need to be prepared to use every avenue possible, have the phone ready, have the internet ready, check what time your nearest ticketek opens...all that that happens. I had the same problems with FOO fighter tickets, but went old school and rang to get through and it worked straight away

Obviously only a small amount of ticket were going to be cheap and yeah its they ed around with releasing 2nd rounds later in the day but hey HARDEN THE UP and be glad you've got a ticket

Too true...i remember what it was like when U2 tickets came out! its the same for all major events. You also always get scalpers who are tipped off and trying to make big money, this makes the whole process a lot harder.
