Go listen to some decent stuff and tell me it doesn't change the way you think about things.

And besides... music should change your mood

mood is a temporary change of personality

which will form habits

if you listen to psychedelic music=you become a deeper person

What on earth is a "deep person"?

This thread needs more laconic™.

Try to listen to some Burial. If there's any recent music out there I'd consider really emotive, it would be his.

TONS of examples?

Please list some of these examples of minimal/tech house FULL of emotion and melody, I mean Jesus H. Christ I've been dying to jump on the minimal/tech house bandwagon for two years.

Chymera - Arabesque
Solomun & Stimming - Eiszauber / Feuervogel (practically anything from the Diynamic label)
Kollektiv Turmstrasse - Tristesse

I could go on and on... but yeah, as someone already said, you just seem to search not enough.

I was about to mention precisely the same track- Burridge's Balance comp has been in my player for the past few days entirely for this track.

Dude, just because trance does those wonderful things to you, doesn't mean it works like that with other people as well. In a similar vein, trance is not the only music that can evoke images in your head or 'take you on a journey'.

I don't know if it's just your narrow-mindedness, but you just force your 'ethereal' arguments too much on us, probably hoping you'll get finally accepted here or something. Whatever you want to achieve though, this is not the right way to do it.

of the three tracks listed the only one I can tolerate is Feurervogel

again, more of the same "Bleep Bleep Bloop Bloop" beeping minimal/tech sound that bores the piss out of me

Although this has been out for a few years now, another Tech House production that I would strongly recommend is:

Superpitcher- Happiness (Michael Mayer remix)

I have a sneaking suspicion that you may very well despise the awkward and unexpected breakdown, but everything else is solid gold.

I couldn't find it on Beatport, but it's featured in Digweed's Fabric release, so I'm sure you can find a sample there.

Psst... don't forget ConQuest, Mala, Blackdown and all the others that do more atmospheric dubstep.

Wow, Arabesque and Tristesse are 'Bleep Bloop'? What would be the M_nus sound called then?

'Superpitcher - Tell Me About It' is another one.
