Check these out:

D. Diggler - Somewhere Sunday (old yeah)
Brauns, Nils Nurnberg - Delicious
Phonogenic - Future Bass
Monocle - Something To Say
Dave Turov - Inference
Lars Wickinger - Le Chique

These are stripped down compared to that prog sound but I still think they have good melodic elements and construction, and the simplicity is actually something I really like. I'll try and think of some that fit your examples better later...

I think these tracks have one note each (some of them had half a note)...

So, you consider this to be quality EDM?what kind of emotions do you get from these tracks?

Lol, why i just love these "constructive arguments "! :stongue:

By the way these "Turov" tracks sound like a rising penis. Do you enjoy touching the vinyl while playing this type of music?

Hey look we're resorting back to primary school insults. I see this thread going far.

I'm still waiting for you to list examples of the TONS of exciting, interesting, melodic tech/minimal house tracks with emotion...that can save me tons of time of having to sift through 50 tracks in the tech/minimal section just to find one remotely interesting track

Thats what I do, but it's worth it. Don't confuse beatport's lack of quality control with a genre being full of crap.

Finding good music takes work no matter what you're into. If you're that lazy, have fun being continuously dissatisfied...
