Once again, this whole "jaded people should shut up" argument undergoes the flaw of "this is a discussion board and if we think it is , are we not allowed to express our opinion?" argument.
Current trance is . I'm not going to say that it should go back to the way it was, but it should progress in a fashion that is in no way similar to the fashion it is. And no, making it more commercial is not necessarily the key to (what I consider) good progression. 50 Cent is not the bastion of artistic integrity, and I view trance as art, I view 50 Cent as commercial pap. When I want commercial pap I will listen to it, but I more often than not enjoy listening to something artistic. |
