Yeah, total bull. What's the incentive for a manufacturer to remain in the series? It would be cheaper to run A1GP and there you at least get a copy of an F2004 to race.
F1 is about pushing technology and innovation to be the premier form of motorsport. Limiting the vision of power delivery kills any and all innovation. Why not allow MORE variety and not less? Different engine configurations? Different fuels? I liked the talk of no refueling stops since that would encourage economy. We know it's possible too since during the thirsty turbo era the cars could not refuel mid race at all.
F1 is about cutting edge, not cutting costs.
If they go ahead with this, F1 will end up being some big ticket spec series. |

So Kov. wont be any help to Ham. in the race coming up. Cant wait, this track has so much overtaking possibilities. And after this... BRAZIL

Was that a race? It looked like a time trial / extended practice session. Boring. I knew I should have slept in late instead.
I was hoping that Kubica was somehow on a 1-stop strategy but when I saw they only put 16 laps of fuel in him at the second stop, my hopes for a strong finish from him were gone.
Brasil should be interesting, if anything for the first corner / first lap alone. |

wasn't the most exciting race of the season, but at least the championship is going down to the wire again, brazil is looking pretty interesting! |

Well it looks like Lewis has it all but locked up. At least we know Massa is a good guy and won't try and run him off the road.
Yes, that was one hell of a boring 'race'. Staying up from all night to finish at 5am was not worth it. Although it is always more interesting watching the live timing with the race. Watching Kimi and Hamilton battling sector to sector was pretty interesting. Kimi is fast as hell, but the Ferrari was no match for the McLaren this time around. Hiki needs to be fired right away. |
