I had FinalScratch when it first came out, and also when it was Traktor whatever. It sucked, the hardware was crap and the USB port on the scratch amp wore out after a year and a half. Also horrible line noise.

does anybodies computer get a blue screen then restart when you exit out of serato or the usb lead is removed? ive tried different versions and it still happens. happened to me in a club and got me really angry, somebody knocked into the lead and it fell out and the computer restarted, took me about 10 minutes to get the set up and running again.
im using windows vista, is this another bollocks associated with vista? |

so the line goes directly from the SSL box to the mixer, and the cdjs (or whatever you use) go directly to the SSL box inputs? why the big push for rane mixers from their website? |

| i fail to find the info i want regarding torq, it seems pretty cheap but can u only buy the software and use whatever soundcard and midicontroller u want? im really considering it. ive stopped djeing a few years back as I was vinyl only and that was a deadend. now i want to get back to it but no way im bothering burning out CDs and buy all that gear again so I wanna software. i dont need 4 decks and efex, so torq seems good enough. any ideas? |

I posted this in the other thread, but in order to run Torq you need the Conective soundcard which comes with it, or you can get the Xponent which is all built in to the one unit.
If you buy Torq now the 1.5 upgrade is free. |

it seems like only traktor pro can be bought software only
edit: downloaded demo for traktor pro software, wow its ing huge!! but can i get better pitch resolution*? 0,5% aint very good imo, and wheres the pitch bend |

Thats direct from M-Audio. Look on AGIProDJ.com. They have 10% today for presidents day.
Also check DJDeals or even ebay .
Dont pay more than 200-250 for it. |
