Oh man....what a sweeeeeeeettt party !!! Was there all the way dancing off like anything till the end...cun stop moving !!! :)
Rank1 was throwing some insane beats...did anyone expect that from him ?? From my last experience, I thought he would be his typical cute lil melodic style trance...but omg the basslines and beats thrown by him were absolutely insane. Could not stop moving.. would love to get hold of his tracklist !!! |

HELL NO, but I really liked it. I wasen't planning to stay till the end. But I simply couldn't help it. He was great! :D

| Piet has been very impressive lately. People don't give his versatility enough credit. A few months ago he was spinning here in Winnipeg after Preach and his set definitely was as hard as Preach threw which is as you say not usually what we expect. Rank 1: great DJ, great productions, always a great set. |

After a long nap I woke up this evening to a podcast from Menno that I just downloaded from iTunes. Apparently, there was a problem recording the set at the Guv so instead Menno dedicated a set of the same tracks to his set at the Guv and posted it as Intuition's 3rd ever podcast.

The cool thing about this is that you can listen to the podcast and each track's title and artist is displayed separately and there is also unique artwork for each track. You can scroll through tracks within the podcast so no annoying "FWD" or "RWD" required like I have to do sometimes to get to my fave tracks in long sets. I used to actually break down each set using Roxio and then burn onto CDs (and :eek: only select my fave tracks so the set wouldn't even play smoothly the way the DJ intended) but those days are over with the podcast. I can't believe it's totally free, although Menno mentioned that it may not be free in the near future; I'm sure all the artists will implement that soon, too. They're just waiting for people to get addicted to it, like I am now.
The unique thing about Menno's podcast is that his artwork is actually taken from the various international gigs he's been on, unlike AVB or Tiesto whose images are just the album cover of the artist being played. Their tracks also have ID tags so the album cover (with the artist name and track title) becomes kinda redundant. But then Menno puts his podcasts out monthly with AVB/Tiesto weekly so they don't have the time to select images for each track; they're obviously a lot "bigger" than Menno :rolleyes: lol.
Peter, the first pic in his 3rd podcast (dedicated to the Guv event) is YOU AND HIM!!!! That's so cool of him.
So, everyone, check it out on iTunes; do a search in the store for "Menno De Jong" and you'll see his podcast or you can go to his website (above) and links to the *.w4m files are there, to d/l and import into your iPod.
