a solid line up in the main room, didnt here mark oliver but every1 played a good set.....
Shulz was great but i was shocked how the night ended menno and rank1 played dirty hard sets and shelfed the uplifting/fluff trance....that was the best part of the nyte even thou my legs gave out by 5.....
the new lazers are sik....but wat the no more liquid nitrogen fog.....im not sure if thats a fair trade off.....
hered bout half hour of paul harris in the drink and he was decent....dont know y he spun higher state of con, to me it didnt feel right.....
its a shame i didnt get to spend time in the gallery, but when i walked thru was going off....
i have to say being on stage is the best place to be in the main room.....all u have to do is wait for the bouncers to levea by 2 and ing imnvade the stage hahahahaha....srly thou i would be pissed if ppl ed up my booth.....good times, good friends(even a long lost friend), good music thats Guvernment to me......
tune of the nyte- it sounded like a As the Rush Comes/Big Sky mash up, Shulz ended his set with it.....
overal -
Shulz-8.5/10(as the rush comes/big sky gives him an extra point)
Menno-9/10(too bad it was short)

my travel/party/blabber log
*light snow make people drive reallllllllllly slow on the don valley.... good damn immigrants:p
*38.30$ in taxes on a 130$ room, thats like 30%!
*went to the pickel barrel for some food... appetizer came after the main dish... good service... not! small portion and expensive for what we're getting. extra tax on alcohol? another 10% or something on food??? wtf. Toronto wants to kill its nightlife or what?
*we're hammered and walking around yonge looking for a cab... its fun to say stupidities in french and no one understanding you:p that yonge street is depressingly empty for a saturday night. :(
*the cab dude mohammed from somalia is happy to be in canada :p i love freshly landed immigrants, so innocent.
*that bypass guestlist line was huge, doesn't make any sense:p!!! (thanks nada and john for the hookups).
*the search girl repeats constantly opencoatshowIDopencoatshowIDopencoatshowIDopencoatshowIDopencoatshowID so I start repeating it like here while being searched, she tells me that she'll kick me out if I don't stop talking, wtf. hahahha
*girls comes and ask me at the bar if i can get her a drink, I say yes what do you want, she wants 3 liquid cocaine, i tell her why 3?!!? and she goes well for me, my friend and her boyfriend! I tell her why would i pay for your friend and her boyfriend, he can buy drinks for her (wtf) and I am not buying dinks for a dude. Keep in mind that I'm drunk beyond imagination. She goes be nice! I tell her that i'm being nice for getting her that drink. She grabs her drink takes it and goes instantly away by spilling my double grand marnier that I haven't even touched... the nerves:whip: :whip: :whip:
*TOTAs ask me what I am doing there?? (what a silly open ended question for someone who's really drunk and can't put 3 words together in space with 120db+ music), you guys told me your names, i didn't hear any of them, I am sorry, i am going deaf and the music was way to loud:gsmile: :gsmile:
*about that sound system, is it worse than before? my ears were ringing like hell after.
*I think I saw that armenian dude talar, if its him, dude crack a smile man, you look like you were at a funeral service.
*lazers were sik:gsmile:
*at 4am, my friend tells me after sobering up a bit and looking from the stage that all he sees is a sausage fest and that he's bailing (he was turned off when an old chinese mama tried to pick him of, and then later when a fat indian girl sat on him without any warning) lololol
*big ups for all of you party people in Toronto for putting up with the worst industry people in the history of human kind from my experience, from the coatcheck people, the bouncers, the security inside and everyone else working at that club... big big big attitude problem, treating everyone like cattle and not like clients.:whip: People are there to have fun, and it seems, every occasion is good to break the good moods by some insolent and brutish employee.
*stopped by a few bookstores and that HMV on Yonge, funny to see french canadian films in the foreign/world section... tells a lot.
*went to Spring Rolls at 1pm, good food (thanks fahad for the tip), whats with the tiny portions in TO? even after the appetizer (that came after the main dish of course:rolleyes: ) and dessert, we were all hungry... we finished our meal with some wendys (that wendys was the slowest ever on earth for some reason).
*those "TO live in culture" banners in the streets were funny... (I was still drunk though at 3pm).
*retarded people stopping on the highway with their canadian flags and hockey night in canada caps for some army funeral procession or something... thats friggin dangerous, thank you firefighters, cops and ambulances for encouraging people to do this. Whats with the flag hogging anyways? thought this was only a typical american behaviour. But I'm coming from another country... not used to this at all... right?
*a sign says 10000$ fine for speeding over 50kmh :eyespop: :eyespop:
*my two friends swore not to ever come back to toronto :( i was doing my best to tell them that it wasn't that bad...
*we stop at guana(or something), i start ordering at timmy hoes and this hillbilly with a leafs jersey start yapping that he was in line way before (he was at some other register at the other end) and he doesn't have any time to waste (that guanastock exchange is really busy on a sunday evening)... i tell him he can have my spot.
*night driving suck balls.
all this might sound really negative but we had a good time and it was good for us to get out of our routines. tomorow work!!:whip: :whip: :whip:
