I had a ton of fun :D:D the usual guv crowd but a little less annoying and less smelly this time around lol
Blake- very different than last time he was in T.O, had the place bumpin when we walked in at 12...heard a few good tracks, good job man and it was nice meeting you :)
Markus- for me he was on and off, but when he was ON WOW WOW the main room was went NUTS... INCREDIBLE!!!! Kyau and Albert- Walk down (remix?) I like the song but felt like it was out of place :conf:
Menno- for the time slot he had I think he spun some excellent tunage :D:D I heard my track Tiesto ft BT- Break my fall (airscape remix) I was pretty content....his first track was amazing and Yahel- Voyage to end things was perf!! Love this guy, trust me if you stick around and watch him progress you'll know what I mean :) and he may have recorded the set ;);)
Went into the gallery right after Menno and electro and I do not get along so we called it a night

One reason why I don't get booths on nights like last night is bc gets outta hand... sorry to hear about your night Dj_Souvlaki. I cannot stand random ppl but mostly booth bunnies after some of my experiences. I like to enjoy my DJ upfront not from the behind :).... I'll just leave it at that ;)
Fahad you are crazy and Malek you are officially the CRAZIEST man alive hahahaha good to see you in action and I thoroughly enjoyed you dancing on the stage beside Markus!!

It was a fun night.
Blake - my 3rd time hearing him and this time he played really well. Nicely done!

It was a great night.
Unfortunately I thought Menno's set was boring, predictable, and cheesy.
Markus was good, as was Blake Jarrell & Rank 1.
Unfortunately I didnt see M.O. |

lol I thought that was supposed to be a clean washroom. You should have said hi :) I did not want to go anywhere near the booth so I just hung out with him over there for a bit. |

I found his previous performance at Guv more enjoyable. Not to say it wasn't this time, but I guess he had more time last time around to play around and really take his time with the set.
All in all it was a good night. A massive TA turnout. I found the crouwd far less pushy than usual. There was a generally agreeable vibe. Was really surprised that early on in the night I see Malek shuffling around the club :p
Nice to finally meet Fahad (been waiting for a while bro, next time hopefully we will have a greater opportunity to chat) and the infamous Barbina as well.
AJ, always a pleasure :)
We got a booth at the very entrance to the club, and there was a bouncer there the whole night. Only once in a while did people come in, and if asked to leave, most politely did. I guess right behind the DJ stage is a completely different matter. |
