I hope there's some info on the pre- and after parties soon!

We have free use of public transport, but I wonder if the trams still drive at night? Or are cabs fairly cheap? :)

The German Tram-System is very Good, so I think they should be driving the whole day.
I live in a smaller City in Germany (Bonn) and also here the tram only has break from 2-4 am... Cabs are also not that expensive.

On of the biggest partys is Lovestern Galaktika with a very commercial (and as i think not that good) lineup. I think the Lineup is included in our other Loveparade thread :)

The Paul van Dyk Night will cost aprox 12 ? and will last until the next morning.
About Undergroundpartys i donīt know any, but i canīt imagine spinning the "big Djs" at an old hall :)

Iīm very unsure if i come to the Loveparade, if, then i will come in the morning and drive back home in the Night :)

A meetup should be very hard, 1.000.000 people... :D

ok the deal in eastern Belin (Prenylauer Berg, near where you are at) run till about 3 am, then again after 5 am..
I know, since one night, we worked 'late' and our 'star-programmer' almost got run over by a tram at 5 am.. hehehe

well, generally, there is nothing to worry about for public transportation, on Friday afternoon (July 12th) you should be able to pick up a 'Loveparade ticket' for ~ 7.5euro, which is valid for all public transport from 6pm Friday till 3 am Monday or something like that..

unless you are planning to leave the parties between 3-5 am, you should be able to get anywhere in Berlin reasonably comfortable with subway/ tram/ bus

The Paul van Dyk night is 12 euros? That's pretty good.

Meeting up will be tricky, however me and my mate plan to be there from the 3rd of July or thereabouts, so if anyone is coming earlier and fancies meeting up early on the 13th to avoid the crowds, that's fine by me.

Trying to meet at 12 would be impossible. If we exchange mobile phone numbers nearer the time and meet somewhere central and easy to find, it shouldn't be too much hassle.

Also, how big is this club PvD is playing at? If that's where I'm going for that night then it might be easier to meet you all in there if it's a reasonably small club.

Btw, can anyone help me out on the German street-lingo for asking for pills?

1. meetup can be done, at night or something..

2. PvD @ Love From Above:
last year it was DM 45 to get in (22.5 euro) and he played two 4 hour sets (10pm - 2am, 4am - 8am).. so i'd assume to see something similar this year. in between Dave Morales was playing, if i remember correctly..

I hope to witness the 10pm - 2am set, as I wanna go home early, cuz I need to be awake saturdays :D

my plan is to stay there all night! i am not -EVER- leaving early again.. too many mistakes have been made by myself in the past

I plan to spend the whole night too. If I'm spending over 20 euros to get in I might as well.

Thing is, it ends at 8/9, the LP starts at 12. This leaves 3 hours to kill in Berlin in the morning. It's not worth going all the way back to the hostel for little over an hour's sleep.

I hate leaving clubs before they close. In fact I don't think I've ever done it! I just hate the feeling of missing the action. Even if I'm tired or ill, I'd at least stay for the great music :) Espescially if a world class DJ is spinning.

Needless to say come Sunday afternoon we'll be in a bit of a state. 40+ hours of pretty much non stop partying. Man I can't wait for this thing! Counting down the days :D

DJ Dawn, I think someone mentioned a while ago you spin at the Love Parade.

Will you be there this year?
