Okay... So then, Biden, Dodd, and Clinton were there for 20% more insignificant votes than he was... He missed 80% of the votes in the past 6 months dude, you're telling me the 20% he made were all perfectly-timed and "in the voter's interest"?... Read my above replies to see exactly which votes he missed... Not to mention, a reply for the guy who was so stoked about Obama's willingness to decriminalize marijuan.

Obama doesn't have much support in the true Democratic states. CA, NY, NJ are Hillary country.

Where Obama does well is in red state caucuses. But what use is that in the general election?
DJ_Lord
man, honestly, ALL of them suck!

if you think obama wont win in ca, ny, nj in a general election you're retarded.

and for the love of all things holy, please stop referring to places where politicians have support as their country.

So...I just realized I got trapped into arguing on the internet again (so easy!)

Hey...we're democrats. Let's be friends! If Hillary gets the nom (through super-delegates? counting mich/flor?), you know I'll be out there with a sign supporting her wherever I can.

If Obama wins, I hope we can all get behind him too.

Awww... :toothless

A big "+1" for that!!! :) It's the people who "hate" Hillary, but don't really have reasons why, and won't support her if she's the nominee, they're the ones that irk me..

I think he meant that all the red-states (and there are a lot) that chose Obama, they probably won't be of any benefit to any Democrat in the general election, because we simply can't and will never win them. For the most part, the states that voted Clinton in, those are consistant Democrat voters and to see who wins in those states shows us what the pulse of the Democratic party is.... Most of the red-states were open caucuses which means independents AND Republicans were allowed to vote for our candidate... This brings up many concerns, but I won't get into them haha..

That's a great point that got brought up.

Opinions are like s, everybody has one. What the makes Andrew Sullivan's or any other human being's views any more correct or valid than yours?

Um, just as a side note: the fact that we all have opinions doesn't make everyone's opinions worthless.

I'd like to think that I have a lot wider world perspective now than when I did 4/5 years ago when I was 17/just-turned-17, and I wasn't a little kid's kid then either, but I think I've read and been through enough and traveled enough to have a wider view of things from what may *seem* like only a short time ago... I think most people on the board that know me very well can say I am a bit older than my years, so I don't think that should be an issue with me.

That is what i am slowly working towards, just going out and learning about everything i can. So far though in the past year of all the TAs i met no one has thought i was younger than 18 until i told them that i was really 16. Though i'd like to think of myself as above the typical teen so i cant really give an unbiased opinion.

Yes but it seems some people are on their high horse because they think an opinion from someone so much younger is inferior.
