I dunno man, honestly a minus party is about the last thing I am looking forward to. Over the last few years their sound seems to have become so tired and boring. A label that at one time was the leader of the pack is now honestly a complete waste. The minus party last year was a snooze fest as well.
I would personally spend my hard earned money on something with more bang for your buck. The minus label and minus parties seems to be hanging from a very small piece of thread made out of hype and past accomplishments. All filler no substance.
At this point going to a minus party to see Richie-Magda- Ambivalent would be just about the same as going to see Tiesto-Paul Oakenfold-Judge Jules. They might have been innovative and fresh 10 years ago but now their are people doing the same sort of things just A LOT BETTER. |
I agree.Kindof.
Although, Hawtin came to Pawnshop in Miami a few Months ago and destroyed the club.Really one of the best sets of the year for me.
Also Ambivalant came to a wearhouse party in Downtown Miami and was amazing, all morning.lol.And Magda was pretty sick @WMC 07.So maybe by themselves they are better but when I went to the M_Nus party 2 years ago during WMC it was less than exciting.
So who knows, I just think that the afformentioned djs that you spoke of can on any given day be amazing. So lets see.
WHERE THE IS """"SEBO K""""???????That guy is the "MAN"!!!!!!Dirttty!!
Still has 2 of the best techno sets that I've ever seen.
SEBO K DOMINATES!! |

I've also been pondering trying to bring him back to Chicago some time this Summer (the listed/Mobilee crew used to have him here every few months - but seems those fellows have moved mostly to the left coast now). |

I will admit Sebo has been throwing it down proper.
I cry @ the lack of Dixon / Innervision representation. |

Uh no actually his parents own a restaurant. I think he pretty much spins commercial house. It's all about who you know. Rumor is Richie is playing a set Saturday night at St. Andrews hall. |

I've just found out that I have to start a 6 week, 3 hour a day in class, 3 hour a day instructing a class seminar on May 27th.
That first week back following DEMF is going to be utter ing shambles - I feel most bad for the kids who are going to have to put up with me explaining a syllabus the day after we're back from DEMF.

According to XLR8R, he and his friends will be "spinning everything from techno to B-more crunk until the wee hours." |

| Where is The Old Miami? I've seen people with a picture of it as their avatar, and heard about good times there and what not, but living in Detroit my whole life, I have never seen it or even heard about it outside of TA. |
