^^ yea.. :( well I'd still come out to an event or two...
I used to have "pvd is my god" in my signature for quite a bit in yrs past...I wholly believed it. Never did that for neone else, never will either.

pvd is the master (and I think so even though armin is my fav trance dj). when I came onto the scene, he's the first trance dj I saw (at twilo, nonetheless) and I still keep seeing him for tradition. I have very fond memories of pvd shows in twilo. a pvd show has a certain vibe, and his shows are usually dominated by 2 factors-energy and emotion, which are the essentials of trance music. after all the energy has subsided, in the last 2 hours or so of his set, that's when he plays some of the deep stuff that make you stand there at 4am and look at the lights and go--yes, this is it, this is the real deal being played by the real master. he can spin the magic, where oakenfold and others have failed. although I don't listen to his live sets and my fav dj's include markus, andy moor and above & beyond etc.... bottom line is a pvd night is a special occasion and an epic experience that is essential a few times every year.

That's an interesting post... seeing Paul out of tradition. that entire post was great.
I wonder if this holds true?
It does in a way for me; I swore loyalty to one man and chose Paul. The day I stop going to see PVD is the day I quit dance for good. Which I don't see happening lolol!
I agree Paul is the master and thus commands respect even if you don't "like" him.
