great night, hardest, most banging set i ever heard PVD play, More of his Space miami style than hos central park style, he played alittle SVD, i believ he played Martin Roth-off teh world, and a mix of Everything But the Girl
reaaly good crowd, nice mix, euro, asian, club kids, TA's, everyone into the music, lasers were amazing, sound was fantastic, like fine wine PVD gets better with time, even when he dropped Time of Our lives it was a bangin hard hitting mix, crowd was really moving, like I said if you werent there, but you seen PVD in Miami at space, it was thesame exact vibe, he just bought it hard all night

Great Set by Paul!
Roseland is the easiest venue to sneak into, just jumped the smoking fence and walked right in. $50. Was talking to my girlfriend afterwards and we realized we are closing in on our 100th time seeing paul...we have kept every flyer since 1997!!!! |

haha yeah I overheard mad people talking about how important they were for being up in VIP, and I was like "ummm there are no bouncers, fool! get over yourself, we all got up here for nuthin!!" hahah! Sucks for the people who actually paid tho, that they were just letting people walk up there. I know I HATE when I pay and that happens!!
anyways BEST night!! I was walking on cloud nine most of the night, and was-------->:crazy: :eyes: :eek: :D :D :D when he played Mindcircus!!
Not feeling the club scene at ALL lately, so it took a while to "convince" myself that I wanted to be there. But the music was on point, the many MANY peeps I got to chill with, and the awesome vibe had me hooked by the second hour :) :) PVD reminds me that, in my anti-clubbing mood I have been in, that there are SOME parties (and some people!!) worth coming out for :) :) <3 <3
Great meeting a bunch of new peeps and of course seeing some that we rarely see (dirrtty dave!! joey, shannon, the DC/Philly peeps, mah pvd whore from the t-dot!!, etc...there are soo much more but too many to recall!.....)
jon and albert are my ing heroes.
marcello you have to start telling people your real name. like 100 people called you eco last night!! hahaha! happy birthday gerard, hope we got you nice and toastty drunk! (speaking of drunk....andrew with his fish hooks and white trash!!) :haha: :haha: loser. ;) |

good times, wish i had been more sober (or not as intox) to enjoy more of the sets. I think I enjoyed his show @ central park better, but I think outdoor venues overall > indoor...
the bartenders were making decent drinks and I was pretty bombed early into the night. So much easier to gauge yourself when drinking beer.
Anyway, good times and a shout out to the cute asian chick who was giving me water and checking up to see if I was ok while sitting upstairs by the side of the VIP section, just kind of waiting for the room to stop spinning.

Great stuff from the man as usual, at least before I had to leave early.
Really cool that they opened up the upstairs balcony.
Vic did a scintillatingly sensational job opening as well. |
