Haha, I just love the hypocritical post whores in here. "Yeah, sure, I brag about stuff and post irrelevant facts about myself here too, but when I do it, it's different! Why? Well, it's because, well... um... shut up!"
As a matter of fact, to tell the truth, there is one key difference between them and Deadmau5, which is that several of us actually had at least some fleeting interest in his developing career.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you got into law school or that you're going to Ibiza or whatever, but those things have no meaningful impact on our lives, whereas a successful DJ or producer coming out of Toronto is kind of a source of local pride, for some of us anyway. And I know, of course everybody likes to talk about things that excite them, but that isn't the same as announcing it on a forum. |
