I think that's why he said "some of us"..and dude, there's nothing wrong with supporting someone from your hometown that has become a success or feeling some sense of pride.....especially someone that is representing this city and our scene on an international scale....it seems like a no brainer to me...:rolleyes:

As a matter of fact, to tell the truth, there is one key difference between them and Deadmau5, which is that several of us actually had at least some fleeting interest in his developing career.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you got into law school or that you're going to Ibiza or whatever, but those things have no meaningful impact on our lives, whereas a successful DJ or producer coming out of Toronto is kind of a source of local pride, for some of us anyway. And I know, of course everybody likes to talk about things that excite them, but that isn't the same as announcing it on a forum.
