As a matter of fact, to tell the truth, there is one key difference between them and Deadmau5, which is that several of us actually had at least some fleeting interest in his developing career.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that you got into law school or that you're going to Ibiza or whatever, but those things have no meaningful impact on our lives, whereas a successful DJ or producer coming out of Toronto is kind of a source of local pride, for some of us anyway. And I know, of course everybody likes to talk about things that excite them, but that isn't the same as announcing it on a forum.
You talk about "our" lives like we are here for the same collective reason working as a society, yet the reality is that there are an infinite number of people here for an infinite number of reasons and they all have to co-exist...
There is an awful lot of stupid nonsense that gets put up on this board for no other reason than bordom.
I am the worst contributor.
But please don't tell me that you really think there is collective "our" who's lives are being impacted by the message board.
