you know what they've never lost in the stanley cup final...also they've played better than all the eastern conference teams left in the past couple years. they have a good core and pierre lacroix did an excellent job building the club...much better than i can say for once again all the eastern conference teams. everyone gets pwned every now and then. |

yes but you didnt read what I wrote. I said *IF* they play like they did. Talking about building a team and what they have done in the past means jack when they are down 2-0 and they are playing like ass *NOW*.
And they have to GET to the eastern teams first before we can even speculate how they would do against them. It doesnt make sense to talk about how well they would do against the east when they are currently gtting their asses handed to them in the west.
Trust me, I would prefer ANYONE to win over the Red Wings, but the Avs arent making my wish come true any faster. Defending what they COULD do (or have potential to do) is also irrelevant, because the rangers COULD be playing better right now, too, but they arent. They look like atm because of their lackluster defense.....and it doesnt look like its getting any better. :rolleyes: |

edit: rangers are NOT playing their game right now. We HAVE to pick it up....the pens are already a tough team, and to play lackluster does not help our cause one bit. :rolleyes: ING PLAY SOME DEFENSE!!!:whip: |

haha Joke all you want, but you've got HOW many seasons without a successful playoff run (not to mention plenty without any playoff run)... Marty Brodeur has done his job for the team over the past years and is still THE best, whereas the Rags have a goalie nicknamed "King" who is in his second playoff run with them and once again showing he's no better than most of the other goalies in the NHL.
As for Avery, what's a matter, he can't take the heat when he's the one being poked at?!?! :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: |
