| Looks like the Pens don't have a chance this year. Detroit is completely shutting them down. I underestimated their defense.......I knew they were great but who the hell would have thought they would shut out one of the most potent offenses in the league two games in a row. Anytime the Pens touch the puck, the Wings are on them like flies on . Malkin looks like he is finally folding. :( |

I didn't get to watch the game tonight cuz I went to DEMF, but the chaos and horns honking outside Joe Louis Arena as I was trying to get back to the Canadian border only could mean that my Wings actually won tonight :D
Detroit is a fortunate city for sports teams (although I don't think they Tigers are having that great of a season so far) |

| dear god i'm so happy...watched this at the espn zone on the pittsburgh floor and wow there were some moments. so happy to know we are going back to pittsburgh for a game 6 |

HOLY ING BALLS!!! One of the best hockey games I have ever watched! Pens blew a two goal lead and were down 3-2 with less than a minute to go in the game.......Detroit fans were already celebrating thinking they would hoist the cup tonight........not for long! Fleury was pulled out of the net and Talbot put a rebound shot past Osgood with ONLY 35 SECONDS TO GO IN THE GAME!!! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:
After three ridiculously good overtime periods, Sykora scored on a PP goal after Hudler was called for a high stick to the face.
Fleury was UN-ING-BELIEVABLE tonight........55 SAVES!!! Pens keep it alive!!! :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
Edit: if anybody noticed my status on facebook today "if there is a Hockey God out there please put your foot in some Penguin ASS!!!" I guess they were listening......... |

Detroit took a stupid penalty. You cannot do that in 3rd OT. Players are exhausted as it is, then throw a power play in there as well.. pfft.
Anyhow, I'm definitely not a happy camper right now so I have opted to stop talking about the game. (I posted enough in the TO thread anyhow) |

| The 3rd period had to be one of the funniest periods in recent memory for me. I was laughing so hard when the pens scored even though they were dominated in about every way the entire period. |
