Just curious, where did you go to school?

Penn State, so it was right in the middle of PA. It was like 40% Pittsburgh 40% Philly and then 20% everywhere else. And the whole time they would just get drunk and argue with each other and each make no sense. Because of this i dont think i've heard an intelligent sports argument from a Pittsburgh or Philly fan and have lost all respect. However, i have to give the edge to Eagles fans for most obnoxious and ignorant. Pittsburgh fans weren't too bad but all their drunk rambling has still made me not a fan of Pittsburgh. Plus most of the ones i've met from Pittsburgh are just slightly northernized hicks.

I hope tonight was a wake up call for the Penguins. This series is not going to come easily like the last three. The second two periods were hard to watch. :nervous:

I didn't get to watch the game tonight cuz I went to DEMF, but the chaos and horns honking outside Joe Louis Arena as I was trying to get back to the Canadian border only could mean that my Wings actually won tonight :D

Detroit is a fortunate city for sports teams (although I don't think they Tigers are having that great of a season so far)

i was exhausted yesterday and fell asleep before the conclusion of the game. from watching the beginning, i don't really feel that pittsburgh is in that much trouble. i mean come on they are playing the detroit red wings in the joe, this is the first time the two teams have played each other in 1.5 years and it's game 1 of the stanley cup playoffs. the red wings have won 3 Cups in the last 10 years, they have veteran leadership from those championships teams (ie: holstrom, osgood, lindstrom)and detroit is just a monster of a team. lindstrom has been the best defensemen in the NHL for god knows how long and pittsburgh hasn't had the opportunity to face a team that is this good offensively or defensively. i picked detroit in 6 from the beginning but if pittsburgh plays their game they could very well walk away the champions. something to think about though is that nashville challenged detroit and dallas challenged them right there at the end. they CAN losee but they also know how to bounce back. the real test is game 2, pittsburgh could lose that but like i said that's almost to be expected, what will be REALLY interesting is seeing if they start playing better and challenging detroit.

time to go watch some tape boys!
