Oh i know, im a Penguin fan since i was 4, and give him a ton of credit for what he has accomplished. I dont like, what he had to say about Crosby and Malkin, because there is no comparison there. He really needed his team to help back up his words last night, and they didnt.
Mario was the greatest ever, Jagr is just upset that he doesnt have that kind of teammate anymore. |

That's for sure... In a recent interview during the whole Rangers-Devils bruhaha, Brodeur even went as far to say he fears Jagr the most out of any player in the NHL right now; he can just make a shot or an oppurtunity out of NOTHING, and I enjoy seeing him play... Not to mention, during the Rangers-Devils series, I think his comments were the most level-headed and respectful, and dare I say it, he's one of maybe 2 or 3 classy players on the Rangers. |

| quote: | New York Rangers forward Sean Avery has been hospitalized after lacerating his spleen during a playoff loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In a statement Wednesday, the team said the noted agitator was taken to St. Vincent’s hospital after New York’s 5-3 loss Tuesday night and was admitted following a CT scan.
Avery will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, the Rangers said, but is expected to make a full recovery.
The Daily News first reported on its Web site Wednesday morning that Avery was taken to the hospital in cardiac arrest. The newspaper said the 28-year-old was unconscious and not breathing when he was taken to the medical center. He arrived about 3 a.m. Wednesday, a person at the hospital told the newspaper.
The Rangers trail the Penguins 3-0 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal series with Game 4 scheduled for Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
Avery had an assist on the Rangers’ second goal in Tuesday night’s game |

Damn that sucks..... I wanted to see Hal Gill put him in his place tomorrow night. No wonder he was not a factor on the ice yesterday. |

| I hate to see anyone get seriously hurt, but if that didnt happen, Gill would have done him dirty! |

| As much as I dislike Avery I hope he recovers from this. It's never good to see any athlete sustain a bad injury. |
