That review is awesome...this is going to be one of those REALLY rare games that pushes gaming up to another level. I can't quite think of how, as it's a lot more of the same old GTA, but just the level of detail + graphics + multiplayer. Incredible how they can make the online work with 16 people PLUS that massive city all run in sync with each other. I mean, Battlefield 2 on PC is the closest example I think of with so much going on at once, everything in sync, but this is SO much more...
And this is all coming from a PC gamer. I gave away both my 360 and my PS3 early last year. I'll def. be getting that PS3 back for this though... |

| I am torn on which system to get this on. I don't have either system right now, but will be getting one of them for this game. The PS3 game seems to look and be better, but the XBox 360 version will have all the DLC and more people I know that will have the game will be playing online with the 360, not the PS3. The PS3 though, also gives me Blu-Ray. Tough choices. |

That is a tough choice...if you watch a lot of movies maybe PS3 is a better choice for you.
If not so much, then probably 360 because your friends on it + Xbox Live is integrated really well. |

| Dieselboy, if your friends all have XBOX, it's probably best to get that. Playing multiplayer is so much more fun with friends. |

i dont get the more people will be playing it online on 360 version.
Only 3-4 Million Xbox 360 owners have Xbox Live Gold. While every single person that buys the PS3 version will jump online if they choose to. More than half the people who buy the 360 version wont even go online. |

You don't need a gold account to play online, and there are more 360's in American homes than there are PS3's.

So here's some ing bull:
I get a call on Saturday from some GameStop robot lady saying "Your copy of GTA4 can be picked up at Midnight this Monday night/Tuesday morning provided it's paid in full." I think, "Cool, perfect timing. Can't play at all Tuesday, this way I can put in a late night on Monday."
Wanting to double check, I look at the GameStop website and download the PDF list of stores opening at Midnight - mine is on there, double checked.
Not wanting to mess around, I finally decided to call today and make sure my reservation is paid off. I call, say I'm calling to make sure my copy is paid off so I can pick it up at midnight, and the following ensures:

GStop Tard: You could go pay it off at another store?
RJT: Alright, I will come up there right now so you can refund my money and I will go to get it somewhere else.
GStop Tard: Our reserve system is down right now so I can't do that, we can refund it to you tomorrow.
RJT: I'd like to speak to the manager.
GStop Tard: You are.

So yeah - I'm out $60 with no way to get it back and no extra cash to just go buy a copy of the game at midnight.
I am well ed off - I was really, really looking forward to playing this tonight.
