Can anyone do this? Im workin on it nowadays.. just a cool thing to be able to do IMO..
For those who dont know what it is------->
Lucid dreaming is when you are fully aware you are dreaming but remain in a dream state of sleep (REM). Perks: Limitless, inconsequential environment. When you get "good" at this and can really grasp what is going on around you without waking, you can actually control the flow of your dreams and basically do whatever you please becasuse it isn't reality.
I dunno, just curious if anyone on here has wierd interests like me...
cheers,

hey harley, hows it goin??? havent talked to ya in a while!
anyways.. i started by just writing down every one of my dreams thst I remember when I wake up, even if its in the middle of the night. the more you do that (and include small details too, like colors and animals and whatnot) the more you can recognize the patterns of your dreams and what you tend to see in them. also, things like books and digital clocks (the words/time) usually change when your read them.. lights cant be turned on/off... its just little things that you need to be able to recognize unconsciously.

that sounds pretty cool
but because your mind is so active would you still be in a full state of rest? (the whole point of sleeping)
any stories on lucid dreams are welcome |

Yes....
I've done it soo many times before.
It's really great, it's like you can control your dream, and choose what happens next...
I always wondered what it was called. |

I did not read the whole article , but i just picked up this line:
"The trick here in a dream is to just see how your mind works, and how beautiful or horrible you can make things"
I think it's really amazing what your mind can create...
it's capability to weave together different ideas to create the dream is really awesome... |

the whole trick to lucid dreaming is to be able to pick up on little things, like marc said. also, in your dreams things happen that would normally not happen. like talking animals and spiders that look like squid (those were in my dream a couple of nights ago), and thats basically the reason why you write your dreams down to see those things
im reading a book on lucid dreaming right now, its kinda cool, but a bit boring to read about it
i had a short lucid dream about a month ago. i was sitting on my bed talking to my bf on the phone and then he said to hold on for a minute and then bugs and spiders started to crawl on my bed. when i tried to scream, i couldnt, i could only to in whispers and when i whispered my bf's name into the phone i could only hear someone breathing. i was really scared and then i realized it was a dream so i decided to wake up b/c i was freaked out and didnt know what else to do |

man! i'd throw so much at my dad if he woke me up out of that.
I've been in one of those kind of dreams for a bit before, I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't have real control. Guess I'm not a master.... :) |
