Well, now that they're getting married she's stating she doesn't want kids because he doesn't want kids. That's a lie! She does, but she's hoping that eventually he'll change his mind about having them. When he doesn't, they'll split up because the stress of it all with tear them apart.

THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T TRY TO CHANGE YOURSELF TO MAKE SOMEONE ELSE HAPPY.

OMG I feel bad for your friend. She is going to get a wake-up call one of these days, and by then it will be divorce time. :( I seriously think we need to make it ing hard as hell to get married. That way people will think about getting married before doing it. And I believe this on a national level, not just a state level.

No, that's true. People take it so lightly. "Oh if it doesn't work out I'll get a divorce." NO. Marriage is a ONE TIME deal for me. If it doesn't work out the first time, I'm not doing it again.

Hence why I DIDN'T get married to the guy I was supposed to hitch to.

I don't think people should have the, "It's a one time thing" view, but it should NEVER be viewed as, "the way out" of a problem. Getting divorced should be easier though imho, but only if they made getting married way hard. If they did, people would be less likely to rush into marriage because they are forced to go through a ton of bull.

I have a daughter, shes 18 months and I wouldnt change her for the world. Some people may not be keane on kids till you have your own, its your own little part of you, for me anyway that makes it special.

I cut the cord and all that, an emotional moment indeed :)

One of my good friends is only 30 and has 5 kids, his oldest is 15 lol

Fair play to him, wouldnt fancy 5 though

It's tough being Batman.

I love kids when they are 1 day old to 1 and half years old when they just start turning sides and trying to sit such powerful and adorable moments learning to walk such cute times......after that they start running around like lil drunk midgets and not fun less attractive the more they grow up.

I can't understand those who don't want to have kids eventually in their life. It's like when you die, you leave nothing behind. And no, don't tell me that you will leave a fortune. You don't take money with you to your way to hell. Except of course if you are innovators of some kind which I highly doubt judging by the forum we are in.

P.S. I want kids and for sure more than one.

elFreak
who said they were leaving any money behind.

hookers n blow

many people chose not to have children anymore. It costs a damn fortune.

Exactly. The mindset that if you have kids you have to spend a lot of your money into your child is the main problem. That's what capitalism makes you think - that the thing that will make you happy is to have a nice sports car rather than grow your own children. The difference between the two is that when you get the car, a better one will pop up in a year after and you won't feel happy because now you don't have the brand new model. It's just an endless process of consummation which leads nowhere closer to happiness.
