when you have kids.... a part of you dies... but that same part is reborn in the eyes of your kids.....

I would not change a thing ... i had my kids at a very early age and now they are old enough to really explore the world with me....

my minions....
:)

wouldn't have it no other way

If my kids turn out to be half as bad as I was in high school then I am in trouble. :eyes:

I 100% disagree that any part of you dies. Part of what you have done and what/who you have been is temporarily stored away, but you usually end up doing a lot of those things, minus any drugs and excessive drinking, when you are old and retired.

kids are what we are here for; survive and replicate. not having kids is like not existing at all.

Even a bacterium can survive and replicate. That is a shallow existence; "process" rather than "purpose."

he doesn't have kids lol just designer jeans.

i think wht lasfx is referring to is that you stop living for yourself and your whole focus becomes put on the kids. The selfish part of you that wants everything is replaced by the giving aspect.

Nigga, you couch and send me my squid!! :p

I was basically who raised some of my many siblings, and I fully understand what it takes to raise a child. Even in the aspects of financially, emotionally, and physically. These things are nothing new to me, but I don't see how anything within you dies. If temporarily putting it aside is considered dying, then alright, I agree. I just don't see it.

Laz, Please don't patronize me with "too deep for ya" like some stupid 30+ that thinks he knows how to skull someone better just cause he has a degree in it. Explain your view, and allow a rebuttal.

I love them. I guess its because I grew up with a little brother and my parents have always been friendly around children that I eventually picked up on it. there's something about their candidness and purity that's just adorable to me. Id definetly like to have at least one when I settle down

No kids in the near future but maybe later on. My bro & sis in law are expecting thier first child tonight or tomarrow morning so im pretty excited about being an uncle for the first time. I hope its a boy but they picked a lame name for a boy.... Liam.

no sólo estan feos los hijos de su madre, pero son todo unos demonios que no proveen nada bueno a la sociedad.
