I think is it is a good signing but as a Manchester United fan I was not very scared when it happened maybe because we always tend to compare the one who will take the job with Morinho....I find him an overated coach, although I am a Brazil fan too, I don't beleive that his tactics were the ones that made Brazil win the world cup in 2002, if u guys all rememver the 4 R's were all in top top form and were probably the best players in the world, each one in his position. Maybe the word overrated is wrong but he doesn't have any exeprience in the EL's which is proabbaly another challenge for him but time we tell. From what I know, he is a stubborn coach so dealing with all those super stars is another big challenge for Big Phil |
he may stubborn but seems to be decisive in terms of decisions he makes. seems like a simple person who likes to play simple but effective football. i dont think he'll be putting up with any bs coming from players. now that he's coaching in the premiere league he'll be surrounded with ego's. then again, we could be seeing him bustin out the designer suits within the first week lol. |

like always, italy gets ed over with bad calls.....if the game was 1-0 going into half time, the result would have been very different
|
I knew Italians were a 'class above', but I didn't realise they are from a different planet. :wtf: |

meh...Portugal had its B-team on the field...
Turkey vs Czech Republic was f*ckin awesome! Classic Turkish determination!
I also watched the Sweden vs Spain game. Spain has a good young team but I don't think they have what it takes to win the tournament. We'll see how they do in the next round. |

no kidding, Turkey game has been the game of the tournament for me so far. Unbelievable drama went on in that (and god knows we love our drama lol :p).
I disagree with your comments about Spain, though, I haven't seen another team make such precision passes and attack so beautifully the way they do (Netherlands comes as a close second though)... |

never said a class above, but like in many other tournments, either lack of lady luck or just BS referring is always on Italy's ass |

Croatia thats whats up. ;)
Turkey will be easy. Semis against Portugal or Germany all over again is a different story. :D |

| Hopefully the Turks beat the Croats, so we don't have to face them again in semis. :D |

| Do I get this right? Holland is better off letting their B-team play today, lose against Romania, to eliminate France and Italy? That would f*ckin suck.............. |
