I can see Italy and Germany in the final. Most of the Euro coaches are nominating France to win the cup or at least reach the finals but for the group of death it will all be down depending on the first game.

Germany has somehow an easy way to the final. I am not a big fan of any European team but I would like to see Buffon life the trophie again, Italy has a siiiick squad but hopefully the injury of Cannavaro wouldn't affect them much.

All good as long as C. Ronaldo ( Portugal) or Germany doesn't win. :tongue2

i don't want to burst your bubble, but all the betting houses are favoring Germany to win it:

I think its fairly obvious who will get out of the group stages. holland is a great team and i've always been a fan. however, van basten has not done the team very well. since he took over the national squad seems like the team has been out of form since. i admire his youth policy with the new team but its hard to lift trophies with a young squad. managers really have to find a balance between youth and experience. still remember the good old days with the dutch squad. kluivert, bergkamp, davids... classic players.

spain spain spain. thats one team that is never underestimated by the footballing world. however, they always seem to underestimate themselves. this is a pretty solid team and if they hustle, they really deserve to win the tournament. puyol, ramos at the back, fabregas, xavi and alonso in the mid, torres and villa in front. spain are definately one of my favorites to win the tournament.

the french squad this year is probably one of the best i've seen. perfect balance between youth and experience. they are definitely my favorite to lift the trophy. Lyon has really dished out some solid players. ben afra and of course benzema. cant forget marseille's nasr. this kids hold the future of french football. very strong midfield coming from the french this year with ribery, nasr and flamini. back four are surely to impress as well with sagna, mexes, evra, thuram. some solid players.

then again, these are just rosters and it will be very interesting to see who the coaches will play on gameday.

let the games begin!

Babel is injured too, seedorf not there....they have a good team however i feel their in a rebuilding mode and is the weakest team in Group C...i think they'll come in last

i see either spain or italy in the finals vs either germany or croatia....aiming for a Spanish/German final....and it would be entertaining for sure...Spain really deserve it, and certainly have a great team (on paper that is....) we'll just have to see if they "choke" on their words...

France's fate will be decided in their first game vs Romania (where I boldly predict either a tie or a win for the Romanians)....if France doesn't win that game, they are out...simple as that

might come as a shocker, but I can see Romania coming out in first in group C..don't underestimate this team...they have NOTHING to lose and they have some solid talent upfront and in the back (in 2000, they were in the group of death with England, Germany, Portugal) and advanced past the group stages beating off england and germany...plus they finished ahead of holland in the qualifying groups and beating them once already...they have the confidence to move forward
