"Governments'" Actually. There are numerous independent governments in the US. You'll learn that when you get out of the "High School Republican" phase.

Government interference of what? Thanks to government interference, we aren't in a deep seeded recession right now. If Bear Stearns was allowed to tumble, everything else would have collapsed soon after, and you fail to realize how close we were (Or are, even) to a quick sharp turn to hard economic times. Government interference has allowed special safety nets to be created so we DON'T see another 1929. Without government interference, you would be on a bread line getting just one loaf of bread with a wheelbarrow full of dollars. Right now, government is the only solution. The businesses have had 20+ years of Reaganomics to play with our lives, and now it's time for the proletariat to take them back.

You are the one who started using the word INTERFERENCE... I was pointing out the problem with you choosing that word to illustrate a solution. Either way, your grammer was still incorrect regardless of the placing of the apostraphe... the point was that you tried to tout intellectual supremecy over me by showing that I misspelled a word when you used incorrect grammer. And, I had 2 masters degrees at age 23, face. How's your education?

You spout off about government being the only answer... you're just a product of your Russian system man. Your Bear Stearms example is WEAK. Let me educate you. This is an election year, which makes pandering the rage. After bailing out the lending industry, regardless of how one rationalizes it, it’s political suicide to allow homeowners to suffer foreclosure without intervening on their behalf. How does one explain on national television that bankers who offered ridiculous loan terms to underqualified buyers deserve welfare more than the family they just threw onto the street? This is what happens when government intervenes in markets, and why most conservatives had deep misgivings about the Fed action to sell off Bear Stearns and issue hundreds of billions in guarantees. It set a precedent for the action that Congress now contemplates, which is to force all Americans to pay the mortgages of those who made bad investment decisions. All that does is reward folly, and now that we’ve done it once, we will be sure to do it again, and often.
The US government is not a co-signer for loans. Risk is something that people need to manage for themselves. Today’s politicians don’t seem to grasp that concept, which presents a real risk to private property rights, free markets, and the concept of personal liberty, something a communist like yourself doesn't grasp. These efforts assume that the lenders and the buyers alike are playing with Monopoly money that belongs to the government, and not the owners themselves, and that the government can choose winners and losers capriciously at any time.

You're right. I'm done arguing with that mindless robot. If someone doesn't get it, they don't get it. I'll save my energy to debate with someone who has a rational perspective

I don't agree with the federal government. I'm just pointing out several socialist-type policies.

The ruling class of America owns the government. Tax cuts to the bourgeois swine, and the proletariat are taxed the same rate. I say, cut the bacon off the swine and let us feed. Put the swine's head on a platter and hand to the white house as a warning. If that doesn't work, then the proletariat must destroy the ruling class and run the government themselves.
RJT
As the history hitherto of class struggles and modern bourgeois society! Class antagonisms! Feudal something of opression! Serfdom! Bourgeoisie! Tottering feudal society! And victory for the proletariat!... That's you!

A banaxe would be more appropriate.
