So the midnight showing I had tickets for wound up being a complete disaster w/ basically balcony only seating available a little over an hour before the show.

It was oversold, so there were more people than seats in the balcony of a 50+ year old theater with no air conditioning.

I bailed. Not worth my $9 to put up with that for three and a half hours, but still incredibly bummed to have missed it tonight.

:(

same. I just hopped over to the 12:10 one, though, and got a spot in the dead center of the theater.

heath ledger was awesome, maggie gyllenhall was the worst casting decision ever. "TADA!" got many lulz.

does the watchmen trailer show up on non-IMAX screenings?

For those who've seen it..

Is it better than batman begins?

and if it is, is it better than the first one?

yep

Movie was awesome I thought. Felt like it dragged a bit at the end, but it didn't detract from it much for me. Ledger's performance was indeed amazing.

I dunno. I like michael keaton and jack. Theres also a nostalgic value and the comedy that comes along with 80s movie making.

The big balloons, the stiff batman suit where he had to tilt his back to look up when climbing up the tower.
