Except The Riddler's name is Edward Nigma...that accountant guy's name was "Reese". :o

Also, the story in Batman Forever that he's a former Wayne Enterprises employee who wants money and then goes nuts and is set to destroy Bruce Wayne is made up. That is not his original story in the comic.

Big shouts to DC comics and Warner bros!

They totally chopped off my line 'are you serious! LOL

The 2 face intro was sick and best line was 'some die as heroes and some live long enough to become the villain'

The jokes script was awesome!

4/5

SPOILERS

I saw the movie the day it came out. Amazingly impressed. Health Ledger stole the movie without a doubt. Heath has probably created one of the most captivating, interesting, amazing villains of all time. Batman was definitely a secondary character. Dent was great, and the whole two-face thing was great to see. I'm on the fence with them closing the door on the Dent thing, but in the end I think it was for the best because he served his purpose for the film.

I loved the serious approach to the movie, and how it was more a crime drama than a superhero movie. The length of the movie did seem a little long but the pacing was good so it balanced it out.

I remember Christian Bale saying that from the way it seems this franchise is looking to be a solid TRILOGY and that's it. Nolan has been amazing in turning these new Batman movies into a serious and dark world, EXACTLY how it SHOULD be.

I'm very curious as to whom the next villain would be. I could see them doing the Riddler, a more serious version. He was always great at being very clever and diabolical, but I'm tentative on them taking that route a little. I was also thinking Catwoman, because outside of The Joker, she is the other villain that completes Batman. She's not only a love interest (ahem Rachel is now dead, Bruce/Batman needs a lady figure) but also a very challenging foe. But her criminal motives are not epic, so I'm not sure a film could just ride on her character, so maybe another duel villain movie?

I dunno.

Bottom line... The Dark Knight was the best movie of this year. It was rich, had depth and great acting. Just ONE THING...

CHRISTIAN BALE STOP DOING THE ING ANNOYING RASPY VOICE WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BAT SUIT!!!!!!

I. ing. Loved. It.

Easily my favorite movie of all-time, though I'm obviously biased.

lol i agree 100% with everything you said except for the last thing...

In the first movie I thought yes his raspy voice thing was annoying as heck, but I felt he toned it down a few notches for this one, and did not bother me as much...guess not everyone agrees tho

oh hahah. Yeah I never read the comic. It just kind of made sense to me, I don't think that's the last we'll see of that Reese guy. Just trying to think about where they can go in terms of the next villian now that there's no Joker anymore.

Plus I think his red hair had me thinking of Jim Carey.
