| Is it just me or did anyone else feel that Bale was actually one of the weaker characters this time around. Overshadowed by both the Joker and Two Face. I felt as if his performance left a bit to be desired. Plus his Batman voice is bit over the top and unnecessary. |

Best movie ive seen in a couple of years. Very clever & well thought out scripting...
about bloody time a writer / director did a blcokbuster like this.
10/10 easily, compared with the coming out these days. TDK is refreshing, a bit bleak & haunting, but still china is breeding and there is a hole in the ozone layer, plus the polar bears do not like dry heat which is what they are going to have to deal with when the bat cave finally gets built in the desert. |

Joker kept trying to fit into all these different types of personalities and they just mushed together and created something ambiguous and messy. |
that's exactly the point. |

Absolutely! He blew me away the entire movie.

Joel Shumacher did Irreperable damage to that character, and just about shat all over everyting else in that movie |
Maybe so, but O'Donnell didn't do any better, either. Chris has turned in a somewhat solid performance before (he wasn't bad in Scent of a Woman), but good lord, he made Robin seem cheesy as hell. |

I seriously support this post. Clayface, the ventriloquist guy (I'm kicking myself for not remembering the name, it's one of my favorite episodes of the cartoon), and The Riddler are all perfect for the route that this series has gone.
I want to live forever, but that doesn't mean that there's a big possibility that I will. Just because an actor wants (that's the keyword here) to do it doesn't mean that the producers, director and writer(s) will let him. Given the nature of the series thus far, it would be quite odd for Two Face to return in a possible third movie unless it's similar to Scarecrow's appearance in TDK. |
I think his name actually is "The Ventriloquist", but I Minahj is right...Nolan's universe is more based in reality than fantasy. I'd agree that Bane would be a good choice for the next villain, but at the same time I'd love to see Nolan use one of the many hundreds of OTHER Batman villains...there's so many to choose from why go with one that we've already seen?

Ledger was brilliant, but with all the spotlight on him i feel that the other actors are missing out on the "good performances" kudos. Bale had another staggering performance at Batman and i was pleasantly surprised with Aaron Eckhart! |
Agreed 100%! I thought Aaron Eckhart was brilliant, he's become one of my favorite actors. Check out "Thank You For Smoking", he's awesome in that too :D

Hopefully there won't be a third movie. It's the same every time, the third movie usually ruins the franchise and leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. I think the only exception to that rule is Return Of The Jedi :o |
and The Bourne Ultimatum
bring on the third one Christopher Nolan! |

Yeah, but he didn't make it at all believable. Plus in what sense was that the joker from the original batman? Heath Ledger just made some crazy character out of nothing. Where were the corny jokes? Where were the crazy inventions? I only saw a cynical man with bad makeup.
Harvey Dent, way better played. |

oh right about the movie.
I liked it alot! Heath was great of course. I liked the city scenery from the first movie better though. It felt more "alien" than in TDK. |
