Feathers.

Dots ftw since their corn's the best and is cheap, especially at Fiesta.

yeah, lol phoenix is right. we're talking about the people's reaction to the disaster, not the disaster itself.

The way people overreacted and blamed the government for blowing up the levees is ridiculous. I went to New Orleans like 10 months after the disaster and I saw personally with my own eyes what all the people did with those F.E.M.A checks. Imagine a house in such a bad condition you could barely live there, but you'd rather have chrome wheels on your new hummer, yet your house is falling apart. I was remodeling homes down there, there are people that took full advantage and redid everything, upgraded floors counter tops, appliances, but some people would rather have some wheels and two 12s in the back. It makes me sad to think how people blame the government for the Katrina Incident, yet waste the F.E.M.A checks on materialistic obsessions.

Did you hear about the big media riot that formed over in Austin a few months after Katrina? It went a little something like this (rough) (this lady lived in Biloxi at the time I think, and then she moved to Austin).

Reporter: Here are only a few survivers from Katrina.

Refugee: Yea yea ah gots mah check i gots da money

Reporter: Are you trying to remodel your home?

Refugee: naw but i gots my new louis vuitton right her see dat? cuz i gots my fema thang n i spent it on clothes n jurry i needed dat

Bro I can't tell you how many phone calls we (my cousin and I) made to that news station right after that aired.

God forbid another Katrina-like disaster (or worse) comes around, but if it does, you better believe the government won't be spending cheese of that amount anymore.
