It depends. It depends who you ask too,
for some acquiring wealth is important and also financially sound.
like investing in 'assets/stock' that will generate wealth in the future. |

I have no credit cards. Just school loans. Is that OK or am I ed? I feel like I'm already a slave to upper class bankers. |
just make sure you pick a major that will be able pay back all what you borrow. thats one of the biggest mistakes you can make. my job has paid for all my college so far(books, everything) they pay up to 3000 a year. when you work 50-60 hours a week, its hard to spend alot each semester. i take 2-3 classes, so im good. |

you shouldn't keep cash as a "physical asset" because of the current currency depreciation.
zild, i'm pretty sure your future job will take care of it. just make sure to keep that +3.0 gpa and get the degree. |

I'm ed then but, getting higher than a 3.0 when you're taking all chemistry classes isn't easy.
I'd say a 2.0 chemistry degree is equivilent to a 3.75 business/liberal arts/communications degree or a 3.0 in a science like biology. I'm just going by the fact that I have to work my ass off to get Cs sometimes but when I take anything that isn't science I never go, never buy the books, just show up for tests but not quizzes and easily make an A or a B. And the fact that many of my classmates already have biology degrees and they think they're a joke. |

from what i hear employers focus on "work experience" mostly. On the other hand, i've heard rumors that employers just look where and what you majored in or somethin'. |

To have school loans these days is just normal. I was on a 'full scholarship' in undergrad and still had a few loans. The good thing is the consolidation. I pay $155 a month for the loans that I had in college and will never have to pay more than that. Granted, I will be paying that for a while. But $155 in the grand scheme of things is nothing and I don't mind paying it.
So to answer your question, you aren't ed. Try avoiding the CC's though. I am like Deven. I have one CC that I use when we vacation. Otherwise, I'm cash and carry. |

| My friend's older brother graduated from Southwest Texas in 2002 and he said he had employers laugh at him. He had decent grades and a business degree, so he ended up working for his family's company. |

Yeah I have no CCs. I wouldn't know how I would be able to pay the payments if I did have them. I barely make enough to eat, put gas in the car, and make it out to the rare party once in awhile. |
