I most definitely understand how poorly the human mind works, and I am doing it purposely. |

i've been saying it for years. the solution for now is diesel engines.
more efficient, less emisions, better miallege and more reliable.
diesel prices should be half of gasoline cause it costs less to refine than gasoline and can be stored for longer periods of time. |

do you really think you would have received a significant increase in the amount of fuel for your $40.00? |

Agreed.
One way people can get away from higher prices is with a canadian tire credit card. If you spend $1000 a month on the card you get 8 cents per litre off when you pay at the pump at canadian tire. Saves me $4-$5 per fill up on a 50 L tank!
I just charge everything to the card and and pay it off immediately. I have probably saved a few hundred bucks since i got this card last year. |

You dont have to spend $1000 at crappy tire. Its a Canadian Tire sponsored Mastercard. You can spend $1000 anywhere. And the gas you buy with the canadian tire mastercard is included in your $1000 threshold.
I never buy anything at crappy tire except gas :) |
