I like Philadelphia's chances against the Giants, Panthers, and Cardinals ...
.... but right now, they look like 1 big play away from losing this game. They seem to can't put this game in the wraps.
Eagles tend to play down to the lesser opponents, and play 100% to the top dogs. |
Giants always have trouble with the Eagles, especially when the Eagles defence shows up, Giants have no shot in winning if they cant subdue the Eagles crazy blitz pressure. Manning folds like a cheap suit under pressure, hes is definately one of those QB's that need time in the pocket to make great throws. Im telling you, Eagles to superbowl...already got my Westbrook jersey this year for my fantasy football league. lol |

Philadelphia is my pick to represent the NFC in the super bowl. Seeing how the Eagles maintained the Vikings rush offense, even though they did run for 140 yards, Peterson went loose only once. If they keep that same run D pressure on the giants, jacobs, ward, and bradshaw most likely won't have any luck. Plus, I don't see the Giants getting out of 3rd and long situations, where we all know Jim Johnson loves to bring the blitz in those situations.
Cardinals-Panthers could be an offensive shootout. I see this game where both teams will be in the 30s. If the Cardinals commit to the run somewhat, and run about 25 to 30 times, I can see an upset in the brewing. However, Carolina is too tough for the Cardinals.
Ravens-Titans imo is going to be the most exciting game. These 2 teams are just going to beat the out of each other until someone stays down. The loss of Haynesworth and Vander Bosch could be key.
Steelers-Chargers is a one sider. Chargers can't get away from having LT run 10 plays a game, and give the rest to Sproles. I see the Steelers eating the Chargers alive just like the Ravens ate the Dolphins alive. |

Did you see the last game?
Sproles is going to walk under them over and over, just watch. The guy is finally forming up. And now that it seems like LT is pretty much done, he is going in and stepping up to the plate. On top of that Chargers are on fire, we are the favorites and Rivers is going to make it happen. |

Sproles is the man. When he gets the ball and runs - this man finds the openings!
He is awesome and FUKING fast as ! I fuking love him... and Rivers! Go Chargers! |

Nothing against the Chargers, and I am not a pessimist, but more of a realist. The Chargers have talent, but they are no match for the Steelers if LT is not 100%. Sproles is a great back, and can start for a good number of teams, but he's not going to get his way against the Steelers like he did against the Colts. Just my opinion.
What also worries me are 2 things:
- Chargers are 0-13 lifetime @ Pittsburgh
- The last time the Chargers played in below 32 degree temps was against Pittsburgh in that ugly 11-10 game. |

I love stats like that 0-13 lifetime @ Steelers because sooner or later the law of average eventually will hit in favour for the Chargers. :p
Besides, 11-10 earlier in the year against a travelling SD team, who was less confident is too close to consider that Steelers have the much better team this time around. But I guess on sunday we will find out what the Chargers are made of, as the Steelers are the toughest opponent left in the AFC for sure. |

Yeah i totally agree.
I mean the Colts were on fire, they went in on a 9 win streak. Yet he stopped them and ate them alive. That's why it was such a good game.
Its going to be another good game regardless. Chargers arent just going to let Pittsburgh run away with it. I am sure they are working on something right now as we speak.
But we wont know until Sunday. So until then I hope they train hard and not get DUI's like Vincent :(

Jackson is such a cool guy too, i ran into him on a Thursday night at a bar down here in San Diego. |

they played 100% to the top dog. The Giants. And guess what? They didn't need a Westbrook big play to win it. All tough D and game management by McNabb.
Eagles-Cardinals. NFC Championship. Who would have thought? :wtf:
Ravens-Titans was a bloodbath with teeth flying. Steelers-Chargers imo is the 3rd best game of the 4 games, and I consider it a very good game. |

Eagles Steelers Superbowl.
Eagles win it.
My Chargers failed miserably, i felt like i was watching the early season Chargers making all the mistakes in the book.
