I don't buy the Romo playoff curse crap. Yes, he ed up in some clutch situations but honestly I don't think Dallas had a good enough team to win the Superbowl those years anyway. If they did they wouldn't have been depending on a last minute field goal to win a wildcard game. Now if he blows a playoff game this year when they are clearly the dominant team in the NFL, then we will talk curse. |
So you really think the Giants were better than the Cowboys last year? I dont think so. Perhaps in that game because the Cowboys chocked.
Cowboys were a dominant team last year too. They were the best in the NFC (at least on paper).
I guess they will eventually win a playoff game (I hope not though) :D |

and that's all that really matters - that the giants played better when it counted the most. |

Yeah, by the time the playoffs came I think the Giants were playin better football than the Cowboys. Yes, for most of the season the Cowboys were the better team, however they lost two of the last 3 games in the regular season, the Giants were playing fantastic ball, and the Cowboys had already lost to the Patriots so I really had no expectations of them winning the Superbowl. |

Looks like Favre finally got out of preseason mode :)
Wasn't happy about the Jets D being complacent and letting the Cards back in but I'll take it. |

The Packers, on the other hand, look like they're headed for ing disaster. Rogers best not be that hurt, or all this "He's looking great so far" talk will go right out the window.
Bigby also needs to get his together. The defense looked horrible today (can't stop the run or the pass - riddled with penalties), and the offensive line looked just about as bad as the defense. Ryan Grant's contract is also looking like it was a giant ing waste of money so far.
All in all I am not pleased with much of the Packers roster right now, but still think McCarthy and Rodgers can salvage something - I certainly don't think two of the interceptions Rodgers threw today were even remotely his fault, and he either had no time to find open receivers, or just no open receivers all afternoon.
in' up. :( |

ing Cowboys proved you right today. If the god damn defense had shown up for the ing game today maybe they could have won this. The defense needs to get their heads out of their god damn asses if they are gonna win the Superbowl. You can't run a defense based on the idea that we can up constantly because the offense is strong enough to offset it. Today the offense had an off game and what did the defense do? Get ing shredded by the Redskins half-assed receivers and quarterback and get run over by their second rate back. How about that showing on the Redskins last drive? The game is on the line and they have to stop them from scoring to keep it a one possession game and what do those assclows do? How about let them consume 6 minutes off the clock and then allow them a field goal which s your offense into needing to get a TD, and onsides kick recovery, and another score all in less than 5 minutes with only two time outs. A piss poor showing on all accounts, they should all return their checks for this week since they didn't bother to show up for the game and use the money to refund the money fans spent on tickets to see that joke of a performance. Hope the Redskins enjoy the early christmas present that the Cowboys defense just gave them today.
Hopefully this serves as their wakeup call and the coaches work the out of their pathetic excuse of a defense this week in practice. |

Phew.
Chargers are finally pulling back together.
We should be AT LEAST 3-1, but yeah refs suck. |

I got bunch of MSN messages about Chargers losing at the half, i laughed and said "Its the Chargers, they always losing in the first half in 50% of their wins."
Also way to pull off the 10 point lead, I had the chargers line at 9.5 lol. DOUBLE WIN!
P.S. Packers finally showing their horribleness, and Cowboys finally had to choke a game against a decent team. I felt redskins had a good shot. |
