i hated watching Ford, the antithesis of a true point. Calderone on the other hand is a pure point. there's nothing more beautiful than seeing a true point orchestrate... Stockton comes to mind... |
I agree 100%, right down to the Stockton analogy (perhaps my fave player to watch, period). It should be a treat to watch Jose run the offense this year with Bosh and Jermaine up front.
(glad you started the TOTA league...you're the experienced commish, lol).

debating .. I'd like to play again this year but found it hard to commit time to rebalancing my roster on a regular basis last season. Left the country for about a month with limited access and found myself in 2nd last place when i got back lol.
tho i did make a decent run late in the season :D

You're totally right about the depth. Funny how just 2 years ago we had the best bench in the league and now we have one of the worst. Talent-wise I think we're pretty solid but that doesn't mean if our guys don't play well together.
I dunno. This season could either be a total disaster or a total success. if everything clicks then, dare i say, we could be going to the eastern finals and POSSIBLY (if lady luck is on our side) the NBA finals. we have the talent on paper. but as any serious bball fan knows its not just the superstars on the team that make a difference. look at boston last year. The reason they won imo wasn't because of garnett or pierece. It was guys like Posey, etc.
realistically we'll be fighting for second place in our division with philly. the nets, knicks and whoever else is there are useless. the celts are the only serious team in our division right now and i expect them to be in the finals again this year. |
