| He might get a pity lay (if he's good looking enough) on the nights she's SUPER wasted - but that is if he's lucky, and her self esteem is low enough. |

Update:
Well we've now lived together for almost a month, and I must say things are pretty awesome. Nothing has happened between us but we do get along really well, and we hang out a lot. Pretty much whenever one of us isn't working (she's actually sleeping 5 feet away from me right now). We are pretty much fully integrated into the other's life. So I still have a pretty massive crush, I'm just scared to act on it, for fear of ruining a really good thing...and with the way things are going I think it's only a matter for some positive results. I'm not in a hurry though, it's just been fun having an awesome friend around all the time.
oh ya, and there's been no "issues" with the fact that she moved in. After a couple days it was like it was never an issue at all.
So ya...I'm stoked. |
Sounds like she thinks you're gay and not a threat. |

Hey, now that wouldn't be a bad idea!
"So, you know, like, I wouldn't ever hit on you, right? Ever! And the weather is so unbearably hot! What I want to tell you is that... you don't mind if I just walk around naked, do you? You can do that too, if you want. I mean, you don't have to, if you don't feel like it, but wouldn't that be awesome? We would be known as the naked flatmates! We'd be so intimate there would be nothing to hide. Like, hiding bodies is bad. Not in a criminal sense, I've never hid a body other than my own, I mean. But, yeah, huh?"

Well I will say I'm by no means experienced in the relationship business (I've only had one previous girlfriend), but I will say that I think everyone is being too harsh. Because if she likes me she's not just gonna say "oh sorry now we're friends and it's too late". I mean come on, can't anyone agree that if I make a move and get shut down, it will make both of our lives super awkward. But I guess after that point, maybe we'd just stop hanging out and be strictly acquaintances. The idea of a relationship is inhibited by how close we really are.
And maybe it sounds arrogant, or I'm way off, but I don't see how she could spend literally every moment of our last two days off with me, and make plans about stuff we'll do in the future, and not like me. That would be weird, no? Or does she really just think I'm a good friend by now? I guess I'll find out.
I will agree, though that I should do something soon. We are going partying for her birthday on the 15th. Good excuse to kick things off with a birthday kiss. |

horrible idea. if things go sour, it'll make her whole birthday experience super awkward. dude i think it's too late for u, 1 month is way too long in a girl's book especially when she's spent that whole month living 5 feet away from you with nothing happening. you're like a big cuddly harmless puppy in her eyes right now. At this point, my best advice to you is to watch how she acts toward when you when you're both drunk. Pay close attention, because if she likes you, that'll come through when she's drunk (she'll give you very tight hugs, try to single you out for conversations over drinks, all that good stuff). But if you're getting about as much love from her as her girlfriends, you're safe & sound in the platonic boat. |

| keep it up OP. don't listen to anyone here. the more you live together without intimacy the more sweet the intimacy will be after you burst:stongue: (what a great anime series) :happy2: |

that's different - it's your fiance!
When I was single, I had one particular friend who spent the night at my house EVERY NIGHT for months at a time, and we'd spoon.
Nothing EVER happened between us. And nothing ever will. We're each others type, and now are bff, but we were just non-sexual companions.
Basically, a couple without all the good stuff.
But no seriously - spooned every damn night, never ended up even kissing. |
LOL!
I recently made the same type of friend, it's really cool in a weird way :D |

The gay guys I know are far more forward and risk taking than most straight guys, so the analogy is a bit flawed. |
the risk of AIDs or s tearing are a bit different than carrying a concealed weapon or street racing. |
