what are some words you've noticed dumb people try to use to sound important/smart?

I don't even think I can narrow it down to a list--this past year I've noticed way too many idiots slipping in $50 dollar words into $1 sentences when they have absolutely no idea wtf the word means.

...to get us started (courtesy of the Simpsons):

EXECUTIVE
We at the network want a dog with attitude. He's edgy, he's "in your face." You've heard the expression "let's get busy"? Well, this is a dog who gets "biz-zay!" Consistently and thoroughly.

KRUSTY
So he's proactive, huh?

EXECUTIVE
Oh, God, yes. We're talking about a totally outrageous paradigm.

Writer
Excuse me, but "proactive" and "paradigm"? Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important? Not that I'm accusing you of anything like that. I'm fired, aren't I?

MEYERS
Oh, yes.

better one is what words are used incorrectly the most ?!?!

quote/quotation is my first example. Quote is a verb and quotation is a noun but even I have been guilty of using them as synonyms :(

-measurables
Anton
