Have you finished 7 Habits of Highly Effective Ppl yet?

(Bc im still on the 2nd habit, graham, LOL! ... got lost in the Twilight series again... just had to read books 3 and 4 after seeing the movie... so ill re-pick up 7 Habits again soon, def next week! :D - such an AMAZING book!)

A book I highly recommend is BATTLEFIELD EARTH by L. Ron Hubbard.

(And, YES, the movie is CRAP indeed. But the book is phenomenal!)

I got through the Twilight series in 2 weeks - all 4 books - SO ADDICTIVE.

HIGHLY! Though i have the opposite problem... yes i agree these books are massively fast reading (both bc of the level of writing and the enthralling content!), but i find im reading the last 2 slow as !

which is partly due to the fact that i hate reading hardbacks, but even more significantly bc im hesitent to rush the ending of this series... :(

I dont want it to be over after breaking dawn.....

I love it too much laurs! :(

BELLA + EDWARD FOR LIFE.

p.s. 49 more pages to ago... by happenstance, Im finishing the book tonight... got a beer in hand (and finished several others) and am NOT going to bed till im done - i cant!

THE VOLTURI! The Cullens better win and them over royaly (no pun intended there) for that BS they're trying to pull!)

no George RR Martin??!! What, why? (unless you've already read what's been released for song of ice and fire, really well written)...Have you read any David Eddings? Maybe give one of those series a try (ex. the Belgariad or Malloreon) :)

As soon as I'm done Brisingr, I'll be diving into those books you loaned me! :D

You tell him mars!

you've read and finish brisingr? still need to buy that one. waiting for it in paperback. HATE hardbacks. UGH cant deal w/ reading them. annoy the jesus out of me.

reading BREAKING DAWN in hardback only bc i cant deal w/ waiting, i love this series too much, but the hardback reading experience for me is absolutely BRUTAL and very annoying. its easily only a 1/5th of the experience for me that reading a proper massmarket paperback is. oh well, some books, series and authors are SO GOOD you simply cant wait a year to read them on paperback, you just HAVE to sacrifice the medium for the ability to read them ASAP. :)

Eddings is (WAS) brilliant. The Belgariad and the Malloreon are NOTHING compared to the ELLENIUM and the TAMULI!

SPARHAWK FTW! Best series he's ever touch.

p.s. his latest serie and work, the ELDER GODS is COMPLETE CRAP! Some of the worst ive ever read unfortunately. Was a sad day for me to realize how far this series has shown him to have fallen. :(

No George R R Martin or Robert Jordan pls (that means you, Jamie) :p

Terry Goodkind? The SWORD OF TRUTH series is better than any other single fantasy series ive read -- and ive read heaps and heaps of them. its my primary focus in reading.

Martin is a brilliant author, i think one of the best in the bus next to tolkien (he's better than jordan, even if its not nearly as popular), so i dont get understand ur opinion on his works... have u read any of his ice and fire books?)

That's why I put down "The Wheel of Time" after halfway through book 8, it drove me CRAZY trying to get through it. Back into it now and will probably read the next 2 or so then stop, then after another book back into it until the end (the last book is due next year.)

Wow... cant believe im hearing ya think this man.

though im not that massively into WOT... i think the breadth and expanse of this series's intricacy and detail is positively incredible and generally speaking largely unrivaled by most fantasy works out there (obvi we have exceptions.... terry goodkind's work, tolkien, martin, and a few of eddings earlier series....)

I'm in the mood for a fun, fictional read.
Picked up Remember me? - Sophie Kinsella today. Interesting story line. So far, can't put it down :)

I have heard of her but the shopaholic books didn't spark my interest. although sophie's writing is such an easy read already on page 111.

as much as I enjoy the hardcover on the book, it's NOT worth the extra $$ :) only if I'm ordering of Amazon or eBay

Or getting them from the library. The speed I go through books it's not even worth it to buy.

I'm actually almost finished it, not quite yet!! I really like this inheritance series.

And I obviously need to read those other Eddings series!! So many things to read, so little time...
