He's a complete jerk who has nothing else to his game but his serve. It's great to see him get schooled over and over and over again.
Honestly, one of my favorite sporting moments of my life was when he lost in the first round of the 2005 US Open. Watching his press conference after that match was PRICELESS. |

what the hell almost 20min to play the first two games...can't say watching williams-dementieva is uber interesting. although it got me thinking, if elena moves to the final won't that be her first major appearance since she lost to myskina at the french in 04? craziness really because if you think about it what the hell happened to myskina...she was the first russian woman to win a major followed by kuznetsova (i think that same year) and all the russians who barged onto the tennis scene are still here (three of the top four women left right now) and myskina is nowhere to be found. what happened to her :conf: i forgot.

I always thought Myskina was a solid player back then, then heard she got caught up in the media hype, and modeled more rather than work on her tennis game.

dementieva lost to kuznetsova in the final of the 2004 us open -- i should know, i was working that match and was disappointed by how short the final was. |
