Yeah, I imagine that Doc and Peekay in particular don't translate well to a shortened form. The book develops slowly, but that's part of what makes it so rich, in my opinion. I'm still interested in seeing it, but my expectations aren't terribly high. |

| Yeah, the movie condenses the entire first half of the book into about 20-30 minutes then goes on to focus almost exclusively on his private school boxing days. Morgan Freeman is great as Geel Piet though. |
