Speaking of banned books, I have heard that this one is banned in several nations across the world.

I read it in French but I hope the English version is translated with the same kinkiness, and works in accordance with the original S&M principles that resonate throughout the original author's prose. |

I was tempted to buy the book after watching the film, because the film leaves so much unexplained, but I was put off by reports of Ellis' "aesthetics of boredom". |

Anybody read it? Is he midget forever, or does he magically grow at some point? For some reason I can't enjoy this story as much as I would if here were not a midget. |
