Don't bother reading pop-analysis books like that. They're not academic texts, they're not worth . If you want to read up on a concept, I recommend this series:

Just finished this today, was great.
Has me a bit paranoid about how damaged my ears might be from living in a modern society, but also has me appreciating all the different natural sounds available. |
