| I think it's better said that people who are serial killers tend to have had experience abusing animals when they were younger..... not that people who abuse animals when they are younger tend to become serial killers. |

I think that's part of social conversation.
Gossip tends to be the same. If the school principal suspends Jack and Jill for skipping classes on the main hall to play cards, the whole city will be told the next morning that Jack and Jill torn their clothes off and had passionate drunken monkey sex in the bathroom stall, and the school principal suspended them because Jill was too damn loud and didn't let him get some :p |

only because its not socially acceptable to have a personality that likes to torture kittens.......

I'm guessing "making love" to animals probably fits into the 3rd category.
EDIT: Quick update on the story. The two teens (14 and 16) are being tried as juveniles, each on two counts of animal abuse. It looks like the punishment will be pretty light.
