hahaha actually thats whats wrong with society, people giving way too much importance to animals... some of you people are retarded about it.

Kids having fun, that's all it is:rolleyes:, they need to get a slap or two, do some community work for stressing out so many people, but
commit suicide??? give me a break, this is not japan.

I personnaly witnessed my cousin squashing my two kittens that he put in a box. The ****** made a kitten pizza out of them. We were about 6 years old, we both turned ok:rolleyes:

Humans are just as much animals as cats. Even more so at times.

They might as well have been torturing an infant. Other than the arbitration of legality stemming from man's immense conceit, there's really no difference.

I have always had a soft spot for animals. They might have simpler brains but just because they aren't human doesn't mean they don't feel pain, fear, joy, etc. I often have more sympathy towards animals since people are most often douchebags.

Exactly. And I wouldn't call it a soft spot at all - empathy is one of the most important things in the entire world. If you respect the emotions and feelings of other humans, exactly what is the logic behind thinking of animals as emotionally inferior? Debatable differences exist such as sentience, compassion, understanding - but the importance of those concepts, those things we elevate ourselves as a species upon, is itself debatable. At best, we are just super-chimps with a penchant for mass violence and the devices to enable this.

The only right we could possibly have to conserve the consideration of life and respect for only our own species is a cold perspective I doubt people truly have the stomach for. Which I suppose I can understand, but I shall never understand how seemingly peaceful people - who earnestly believe in basic human rights - could possibly cast a dismissive eye to animal cruelty. Torture is torture, no matter what form of life it is being exacted upon.

I dont understand how torturing something is fun.

Even when was 6 i would never torture anything.. not even a bloody grasshopper.

the closest thing to a torture i guess is hooking a prawn or a worm to a hook for fishing..but then again they are means to an end.. i need that worm to catch a fish..for me to eat it.
Survival.

If u really think we humans have a right to be mean to animals just because we're at the top of the food chain than you're better off going inside a lions den and let them feed off you fat ass.

Ask the French, they're the ones that came up with that!

I used to make puppies and kittens spin on the floor as a child. And I became a breakdancing instructor when I grew up!!!

I'm just making fun of this fatalist idea that if you do something to an animal as a child, you're going to eventually do that to other people when you grow up :p

I still do that to my dogs, and they sure have as much fun spinning on the floor as I used to have... spinning on the floor :D

Never really spun that well, though. I could do a poor windmill, but that was all.
