Thats whats wrong with society now. He beat a defenseless cat for fun and is going to be 'inconvenienced' for awhile.
No. that. I consider myself a very liberal person, but this little cum bubble needs to feel the fear he put that cat through and make sure its his last thought, his last sensation.
He's better off dead anyway, he's clearly a psycho and its only a matter of time before he moves on to people. |

I don't intend to stick up for them. I do think their actions were wrong, and their wrongdoing needs to be dealt with. But, a bloodthirsty revenge is not the right way to do it. If anything, it just helps you vent your frustration for not being able to help the poor cat (which is a human feeling, we all feel like getting in there and saving the poor animal). Can you imagine how chaotic social life would be if we resorted to this kind of solution every time someone committed a crime?
In this sense, you've got to trust the system and let it handle the case. Community service, for example, is a lot more effective than shoving his head against the toilet and telling him to find out with his nostrils whether the water is spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise, no matter how awesome it would be. Or prison. Can minors go to jail in the US? |

He should go work (under close supervision) in a rescued cat shelter and clean their for a few years.
He should also be barred from ever owning a pet again (somehow) and should be barred from posting on such sites as Facebook/Myspace/Youtube etc for a number of years. |

I don't trust the system; its the reason we have these ed up brats like this. They know nothing will happen to him.
He can go to prison, but we might as well just reward him by sending him to prison. The US prison systems are appallingly nice and comfortable. |

Got a better idea? Remember we're not just talking about Kenny, but criminals in general. Should we just ditch the law altogether, and kill murderers, rape rapists, set arsons on fire, and abuse animal abusers? :conf: |

Are you kidding me!? He's a minor and in the US. Even if he DID go to jail, he gets a cell with a bed, blankets, three meals a day, free time to exercise and interact with others. If there is a fight a guard will protect him, he gets TV (with cable).
But, as he's a minor in the US he'll go back to his home, get his precious dirt bike taken away (which he already has according to his folks), get coddled by his parents, and continue to live his life like nothing ever happened.
Nothing will change. |
