The Comfort Zone is one of the best clubs in Toronto! This is why I started this thread. Somebody was going to do it, might as well be somebody who has the balls to step up for this place.
CZ is strictly afterhours. Hello! Sunday morning! If u want to do bottle service and VIP and deal with BS nightclub politics then take your pick.
Barbina is right, people will love or hate this place. If u hate it then nobody but you is going to lose any sleep over it. CZ is a club where anybody can go and feel comfortable, pun intended! That's why there's a gay section and a chino section, a chill spot, a dancefloor, a patio, etc. It's a non-pretentious club for everybody.
Zone's been open for over 11 years. It has been evolving since it opened. At this moment the club is keeping 100% with the cops. The cops have been up the clubs ass since the raid happened and the club has been taking it. The people who have been getting the short end of the stick are the patrons. I know regular clubbers and workers who have been searched and questioned coming in or leaving CZ for months and months. This really is harassment. I support the club. I will always support the club because I can see past the reputation that keeps randoms out.
I've told law enforcement and bouncers alike to be nice to the patrons. Good people go there to listen to good music. |

Personally I think Comfort Zone is a living, breathing entity.

or some people just see it as what it is.. a crazy afterhours with a whole lot of potential for fun.
if it controls your life that much that you have to look back and see it was a hell hole.. well then obviously you're not stable enough to party.
its a club. its dirty. theres drugs. OMG who would of thought there would be DRUGS in a CLUB.. omgomgomg
you not liking it and calling the place a hole really doesn't change anyones mind.
Its a lot different than it was 5-7 years ago. Ask the 'veterans'. Thats serious business :rolleyes: |

I'm surprised people still have a copy of that thing...I made it like, 2 and half years ago, lol. Anyone hiding in the bathrooms to the left of the DJ booth that I forgot to document will obviously be safe from the cops.
I agree with the peeps here... best underground electronic beats in (arguably) north america. |

The fact that all these tactics failed is a big embarrassment to the authorities. It proved that, although there were people going to CZ with drugs, the actual club was running a completely legit business.
Not only that, the club STILL took steps to beef up security and ban certain bad characters. They also made a public offer to work with the authorities to address any concerns.
They have a case I think from a legal stand point. If you don't CZ then that's fine, but you still have expect the authorites to follow the letter of the law... |
I completely agree! CZ obviously did their research and have good support to file this. CZ has my support! |
