| ehhhhh either way women breast feeding or specifically milking themselves makes me uncomfortable. like the other day this woman i work with was just pumping away in the ladies restroom. the pump was making all types of noises and i was briefly talking to her trying to pretend it didn't weird me out. |

i always pretend to be interested and amazed around babies that came from people i know because i don't want them to take it personally.
i dunno, i feel about kids the same way i feel about dogs. most of them are scary and disgusting, but every once in a while you meet the rare awesome one that just makes you twinkle with adoration. |

| This thread is jokes. I used to hate babies and kids just like some people here; until I met my step sisters son (who just turned 1 year a few months ago). They're actually amazing little creatures once you spend some time with them (assuming of course, that they're not ing annoying and cry all the time). |

| my 4 yr old niece is not dumb at all!!! she's a lil miss thang!!! you can carry on whole conversations with her about her trip, her friends, what she did for fun, what she didn't like, the food, the clothes, EVERYTHING...such a little gem that girl. |

| I don't like babies, babies are indifferent towards me, and their parents hate me like the plague. I've never been good around kids because I just don't know how to dumb down sufficiently for them or their parents to see me as anything other than a cold and miserable grinch. The only notable exception I can think of is a 10 year old kid I worked with when I was teaching computer stuff a few years back. He was pretty bright, and I could have intelligent conversations with him. And while he obviously didn't have the same level of education an adult would've had, I felt I could treat him with the same level of respect. |

| I don't hate kids, I hate their ing parents. Kids are only products of what they've been raised to be, so if you're gonna get all "Kids are ty little twats", you might as well direct your disdain to the appropriate person(s). |

| This is a pretty close minded consensus around these areas, IMHO. Growing up with hundreds of younger counsins I learned to like little kids pretty quick. They really aren't that big of a deal once you begin to spend time with them. Most of the little 's I've met in my lifetime are little s because of their parents and not due to their own free will. |

kids are awesome. they are so uninhibited and adorably ignorant. my nephew is 4 and makes me laugh harder than most adults can.
